I've always been fascinated by child language development, and I've never met a subject more interesting than my very own genius of a son. Perhaps a person on the street would not be able to tell he was correctly identifying a fish as "fsss" but we here can proudly recognize the following words: hi, bye, boat, car, peacock (said "cockcock"), coffee ("cahgee"), button, bottle, hot, hat, banana, keys, shoes, cheese, bird (adorably "boid"), baby, dude, toes, knee, spoon, night-night and ... pool!
