Stare Down with Monkey

Ruvane entered this world with precious few motor skills and very limited vision. Up until recently, I would put him down on this exciting "activity mat" and he would just fuss. In the past few days, however, he is showing some really interesting developmental shifts (I guess that is what these mats are for). He fixes his gaze on the monkey's eyes, and then grabs the monkey's feet. This happens repeatedly, so we know it's more than random chance. The monkey always wins the staring contest because, although Ru's eyesight is improving, he must blink occassionaly.
