A long, drama-filled labor that started as an average prenatal check-up and lasted 36 hours resulted in the most amazing little creature we have ever seen. Ruvane Tide Shapiro was born at 10:49pm, August 15, weighing in at a bitty 5lbs7oz, a measuring a hefty 19inches. His funny faces and huge seeing eyes amaze us. We feel so lucky. He is all sleeping and eating for the first 3 days of his life.
